Touch-a-Truck

Imagine a playground that allows families to get up-close and personal with big trucks, heavy
construction and public safety equipment, cool cars and specialty vehicles… that’s Touch-A-Truck!
Have a blast watching your kids touch levers, flip switches, and shift gears that make their favorite
vehicles whir and rumble at this one-day-only “museum” of local transportation. Admission is FREE.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

Conyers Cherry Blossom Festival

Georgia International Horse Park
When the pink blossoms begin to bloom on the cherry trees in the spring, the City of Conyers will come alive as the Georgia International Horse Park hosts the Annual Conyers Cherry Blossom Festival on Saturday and Sunday, March 26 & 27, 2022. The contemporary arts festival includes 300 artist and crafter booths, a variety of food booths, an interactive children’s area, and entertainment from diverse cultures on multiple stages.
Kennesaw Big Shanty Festival
April 22 & 23, 2023
Downtown Kennesaw
The festival features over 200 arts and crafts booths, 20 food booths, 20 general booth spaces and admission is FREE. The festival attracts over 60,000 people from all around North Georgia. There are two entertainment stages, all types of children’s activities, and plenty of food. The Big Shanty Festival will begin with a parade through downtown Kennesaw at 9:30 on Saturday.
Marietta Community Egg Drop

Life University
The Annual Marietta Community Egg Drop in partnership with the Marietta Business Association, Life University & Marietta Schools will run from 5pm – 9pm! The event will take place on the athletic fields at Life University.
Northeast Cobb Community Egg Drop
Saturday ~ April 8, 2023
The Northeast Cobb Community Egg Drop takes place at Sprayberry High School. There will be fun, food, games, a DJ, activities and, of course, egg hunts for all ages. Kids will marvel as the helicopter drops thousands of eggs onto the football field at Sprayberry High School to kick-off the hunt. Over 90,000 eggs and candy will be given away!
Spring Jonquil Festival
April 29-30, 2023
Downtown Smryna
The Spring Jonquil Festival is located on the beautiful Village Green in downtown Smyrna, Georgia. There will be 150 arts & crafts booths, 15 food booths, and plenty of children’s activities. The show will also feature a local entertainment stage. The show will draw crowds of around 25,000 people. Show hours are 10 AM -6 PM on Saturday and 12 Noon – 5 PM on Sunday. Admission is FREE.

MAY-RETTA DAZE is an annual arts crafts and music festival that takes place the first weekend in May at Glover Park in historic Marietta Square. The festival features exhibitors and artists showcasing handmade goods including painting, pottery, woodwork, metal, glass, fabric, soap, candles and more. All work is made and displayed by the artist, and the event draws over 15,000 people annually.
Smoke on the Lake BBQ Festival

North Cobb Rotary presents the 13th Annual Smoke on the Lake BBQ Festival, May 12 (Friday 4–10pm) & May 13 (Saturday 10am–3pm), 2022. Kennesaw Salute To America

Downtown Kennesaw
Kennesaw’s traditional pre-Independence Day Salute to America celebration takes place on Monday, July 3, 2023 from 6PM – 10PM. The Event features two stages of live music, festive entertainment, food vendors, and kids activities as well as one of the biggest fireworks displays in North Georgia. The Star-Spangled Fireworks Spectacular is scheduled to begin at 9:30 PM, and will be visible from several locations throughout downtown Kennesaw.
Marietta Fourth of July Celebration

The Marietta Fourth of July Celebration is set on the beautiful Marietta Square. The celebration consists of 80 arts and crafts booths, children’s activities, all types of food, and entertainment throughout the day. The day concludes with an evening concert, followed by one of Metro Atlanta’s largest fireworks show.

The July 4th Celebration at Dellinger Park is more than an Arts & Crafts Show. It is a community-wide event that includes Arts & Crafts, Children’s activities, Entertainment and Fireworks. All activities, other than the downtown parade, are at Dellinger Park on Pine Grove road. Park activities start at 2:00 p.m. and continue until 10:00 p.m. This show will draw crowds around 15,000 people. Admission is Free and parking is $5.00 per vehicle.

The taste attracts over 18,000 people from all around the Acworth area. There will be two entertainment stages featuring local entertainment, a dog show, fashion show, and more. Santa’s arrival begins at 2pm with a Main Street parade featuring marching bands, decorated floats, vintage cars, and colorfully-costumed characters. The celebration continues from 3 – 7 pm on Main Street with a holiday host of activities including FREE snow tubing, inflatables and amusements, kid’s crafts, visits with Santa, stage entertainment, and a holiday market full of gift ideas and unique merchandise. The lighting of the tree will occur at 6:00 PM. Food vendors will be on site as well!
